Pregnancy Weight – How I lost it

At 41 weeks pregnant, I had gained approximately 30 lbs. With gestational diabetes, I had to be vigilant with my nutrition and exercise, which has the added benefit of not gaining a lot of weight. While I might not have been “hitting the gym” I definitely was staying active chasing a toddler around. Liam has a ton of energy and didn’t let this mama get any rest. I also made sure to eat very healthy meals and take my supplements. Yes, I did indulge every once and while (Dairy Queen Blizzards are my pregnancy vice), but I never had the mindset of “eating for two”.

Most days I had my favorite protein smoothie for breakfast, a salad with protein for lunch, and a home cooked meal for dinner. Meal planning and freezer cooking were critical during this time…or we might have had fast food for dinner every night!

Here I am 7 days before Hazel was born and then 4 weeks after she was born. 2 days before Hazel was born and 4 weeks after she was born.

In all honestly, I was very anxious to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I hate that I was even worried about this, but since it took me a WHOLE year to lose the weight I gained with Liam, I knew it wouldn’t just fall off. I would have to put in some effort. Even with the 400-500 calories you supposedly burn breastfeeding, I don’t lose weight.

Unfortunately, I greatly underestimated how hard caring for a newborn and toddler would be…

At 5 weeks postpartum I had only lost 15 lbs, half the weight I had gained. That was frustrating, since my baby was 9lbs at birth and there were so many other factors to the weight, including the placenta and amniotic fluid. I was envious of the other moms who just “bounce back”…and here I was still looking pregnant!

It was then I decided I needed to start putting some concerted effort into making some lifestyle changes. With a new baby, toddler and husband working 2 jobs, I really had stopped taking care of myself. I was lucky if I got in a shower most days. I was in survival mode. And it was not good. I was not happy…

Instead of dwelling on it, I decided I had to just make time for me. I got up earlier in the morning so I could shower, get dressed and do my hair. Wow, what different that alone made. I started meal planning again and I went grocery shopping by myself! It might not have been much, but it was time alone to refocus. I took the kids on walks to the park. It was great to get out of the house and let Liam play. He wasn’t  happy about being cooped up in the house either.

By 10 weeks post-partum I had lost 21 lbs! I was feeling so much better. Eating lot of healthy foods. Fueling my body on healthy protein, veggies and fruit and of course my favorite protein smoothie. It is amazing what taking care of your body with proper nutrition can do!

At 5 months postpartum I am now  UNDER my pre-pregnancy weight!!!

Healthy eating, quality supplements, and chasing after kids has helped me lose all the baby weight in less than 5 months! I feel amazing and have more energy than I ever could have expected with a toddler and nursing baby!!

If you are at all interested in learning more about what I did, please leave a comment or send me an email. I might write a post of what my daily food and activity looks like.

Shaklee Mind Works

Have you nourished your brain today? Shaklee just introduced a new MindWorks program, including nutritional support and brain training software. You are going to love MindWorks!

Neural connections in our brain start declining as early as age 20, by age 45 this decline occurs even more rapidly. Studies show the key ingredients in MindWorks help improve mental sharpness and focus and support long term cognitive health.

Scientific studies have shown the key ingredients work in 3 ways:

3x better

Immediate improvement in cognitive performance 3 x better than the control group

Over time, neural connections become less efficient, impairing our ability to recall, think and respond. A key nutrient in MindWorks was shown in multiple clinical studies to significantly enhance memory, sharpen focus and improve reaction time.

Protects against age related mental decline

Key nutrients in MindWorks were shown in laboratory studies to promote the formation of new neural connection and in clinical study to reduce brain shrinkage rate by 30% over two years. In addition, MindWorks key nutrients were shown in laboratory studies to effectively cross the blood brain barrier and enter the brain.

Supports healthy circulation

Blood circulation is critical for delivery of oxygen and key nutrients to the brain. It is linked to neural activity.

The Shaklee Difference

MindWorks contains key nutrients that have been shown in three clinical studies and dozens of laboratory studies to immediately enhance mental sharpness, as well as support long term brain health.

Powered by an exclusive Chardonnay seed extract and guarana extract.

Only available to Shaklee, the unique Chardonnay grape seed polyphenol blend is made with a paten pending etraction process that concentrates specific polyphenols that are clinically proven to be more bioavailable and impact blood vessel function. This extract is designed to help make vital nutrients available to the brain by supporting healthy circulation.

Our carefully selected guarana extract has been extensively tested – guarana has long been used traditionally by Amazonian Indian tribes. It helps improve cognitive performance and on serving of MindWorks contains less caffeine than a medium cupof decaf coffee.

MindWorks includes free access to brain training software

Shaklee is a leader in cognitive health by providing both nutritional support and brain training software in one program. The MindWorks program includes a free month of access to brain training software from CogniFit.

The CogniFit brain games are designed to:

  • Strengthen neural connections
  • Exercise your cognitive skills like memory and concentration
  • Improve your cognitive performance while having fun

I am excited to try this and see if it improves my mommy brain. Since getting pregnant with Liam, I cam tell my focus and clarity have reduced and my “perfect memory” is no longer so perfect!!

Why Supplement + Top 10 Supplements you should take every day

Americans are some of the most overfed and yet undernourished people on the planet, and it shows.

The United States ranks 40th in the developed world for life expectancy even though we spend far more per person on health care than any other country. A new study from the National Research Council and the Institute of Medicine says that the life-expectancy gap between the US and other developed countries is only getting larger.

Proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle play an important role in helping prevent many major diseases, like heart disease, diabetes and even cancer. However, getting the adequate nutrition in our diets can be a challenge...even if you eat all organic foods!!

  Why Supplement2

Let’s take a look:

Our bodies cannot produce many of the nutrients we need, so they must be found in the food we eat and the supplements we take every day. Additionally, if the food we are eating is lacking nutrients, then supplementing can really be beneficial in staying healthy.

•Most people say that they eat well, but research shows that 80 percent of Americans are not eating enough servings of fruits and vegetables.i We are also not getting enough Omega- 3 oils (EPA/DHA), antioxidants, B vitamins or a host of other nutrients our bodies need.

•The nutritional content of our food has changed. A 2004 study of common crops showed a decline in the nutrient content between 6 and 38 percent over the past 50 years.ii

•The amount of processed food that we eat has been on a steady climb ever since the invention of the refrigerator. Today, most of us eat more processed food than non-processed food. Convenience has become more prized than quality.

•Our high stress and fast paced lives increases our needs for nutrients, especially the B vitamins.

•The world is a much more toxic place than it used to be. Our bodies are exposed to more pollutants and under more oxidative stress than ever before. We need optimum nutrition in order to help our bodies battle these stresses.

None of us are perfect, there are days when you might eat well, but then days when you don’t. A multivitamin, along with other key nutritional supplements can be the insurance policy you are looking for to fill in those nutritional gaps that may leave us vulnerable.

We created this list of the top supplements you should take every day in order to maximize your overall health.

The first place you should start is with a multivitamin. This lays the foundation and gives your body the basic nutrition it needs. But you don’t want to stop at only a multivitamin because your body could use so much more.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 fatty acids (such as EPA and DHA) have been shown to help lower triglycerides, stroke and heart disease risk, help with blood pressure, and have also been shown to be helpful in dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, depression, asthma, ADHD, Alzheimer’s, and dementia.i

Vitamin C

Most of us don’t get nearly enough vitamin C in our diet. Vitamin C is essential for collagen production, wound healing, the absorption of iron, and our immune system. Since vitamin C is rapidly used in the body, look for a sustained-release form.ii

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is essential for calcium metabolism; if you want healthy bones you need vitamin D. Vitamin D also supports our immune system and having optimum blood levels of Vitamin D may be helpful in cardiovascular health and may reduce your risk of certain cancers, and even depression.iii

The B vitamins help regulate carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism. They help with DNA synthesis and repair, help to lower homocysteine, and are helpful for functions from stress management to energy metabolism.iv

Vitamin K

Vitamin K is not as well known as other nutrients, but it is essential to our health and generally lacking in our diet because we don’t eat enough green leafy vegetables. Vitamin K is essential for bone mineralization, normal blood clotting, and wound healing.v

Most people know that calcium is important for bones and osteoporosis is a major concern with our aging society, but calcium is also helpful for maintaining normal blood pressure, and may play a role in weight

Antioxidants are essential for protecting our bodies against free-radical damage–which may be one of the reasons why we age. The best sources of antioxidants are fruits and vegetables; look for supplements containing vitamins C, E, beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein, zinc, and selenium.vii

While not a nutrient, probiotics make our list because they are essential for proper digestive functioning. Probiotics are microorganisms that support the normal functioning of the whole digestive tract and may reduce the tendencies many have for constipation and diarrhea. They also help with excessive gas and even conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome.viii

Lutein and Lycopene

These vitamin-like compounds found in food are great antioxidants.ix They also support a strong immune system and help maintain overall wellness and long-term health of the eyes, heart, skin and lungs.

I only use the Shaklee brand supplements because they are the best and most trusted brand out there. I have been using Shaklee’s supplements for past 2 years.  They are the only supplements that I will give Liam (and Hazel will get them too once she is old enough). I highly recommended them to anyone looking for natural product that actually works.

I couldn’t quit my job without some kind of plan to contribute to our finances. Working part time didn’t sound feasible since it still required child care and being away from the kids. Telecommuting also wasn’t a good fit since my kids (mostly Liam) require a lot of attention, so committing to “working” from home on a daily basis was just a plan to fail.

I have been using Shaklee products for almost two years and periodically have shared them with others resulting in a few sales. I never had put much effort or commitment into selling, instead we just enjoyed the products and mostly kept to ourselves….well until now. I have seen first hand the Shaklee Difference in my home and in the lives of my team members. I use their supplements, skin care, cleaning products and weight loss products. They are the best I have ever used and I want to share them with everyone.

As of August 4th, 2014 I am officially launching my Shaklee Health and Wellness business!!!!!!!!!

I hope to be sharing a lot more with my readers on the blog, facebook and instagram!

Newborn Diapers

Last week I discussed the diaper rental I did through Earthy Crunchy Mama. I thought others might find a review of the diapers I received helpful.

I received an assortment of 24 new and used Lil Joey’s made by Kanga Care.

These diapers are designed to fit from 4-12 lbs.

They have a special snap down for the umbilical cord.

They are very simple and easy to use, very similar to a disposable diaper.

The internal soaker is made of 4 layers of microfiber that is permanently sew in into the core, compared to pockets that require stuffing.

I was familiar with Kanga Care because I have been using their one size pocket diapers, Rumparooz, with Liam since he was around 3 months old. They have worked great for us. I love the quality of the diapers and ease of use. When I saw they had newborn sized diapers, I thought they would be a great fit for baby Hazel.

I started using these when Hazel was a week old. I could have used them from the start, but I just didn’t feel like dealing with two in cloth that first week! At first I really loved these little diapers. They fit Hazel very well and were super cute to boot.

However, I started having leaking issues. She couldn’t go more than an hour without having her clothes soaking wet. Ugh! In 2 years of cloth I never had this kind of issue with Liam. I could tell we were reaching the max weight for these diapers and that was causing the issue. I added a hemp booster to help increase the absorbency and STOP the leaks.

After a month I decided it was time for us to move her out of the newborn diapers and into the one size diapers, on the newborn setting. Since doing that, I have had no issues with leaks and she can go 4-6 hours in one diaper – which means I can get a pretty good chunk of sleep. Yeah!

If Hazel had been on the smaller size at birth I probably could have used these newborn diapers without any issues for a longer period of time.

Overall, I think they are a great option for parents considering using cloth on their newborn. The rental program was great, because I didn’t have to make a huge investment on something I only used for a few months.

Monday, August 4, 2014

Well…it is official. I am now a stay-at-home-mom. I am scared, but mostly excited about this next chapter in our lives. If you had asked me a few years ago if I would ever be a stay-at-home-mom, I would have answered with a resounding “NO!” But becoming a mother changes you in ways you never thought were possible. My priorities no longer focused around a career and money, instead all I cared about was finding a way to be home with my kids.

When Hazel was born the urge to be home full time was overwhelming. I was barely doing a satisfactory job raising one child and working full time…how in the heck was I could to do this with two kids?! So when the 12 weeks magically (at least it seemed like that) were over, I was in no way ready to go back to work. Not now, not in a few more weeks or a few more months. Did I really want to watch my children grow up in the hour I spent with them in the morning rushing to get ready for work or the few hours in the evening when I was making dinner and taking care of the house? They were going to only get the worst of me. The hurried and stressed Hailey.

I made the hardest decision of my life and quit my job. The choice to stay home was easy….the choice to walk away from seven years at a company with co-workers I truly care about was heart wrenching.  I was so conflicted. Were they going to hate me for leaving? Could we afford it? Could I handle full time parenthood with little to zero breaks? It honestly took the whole 12 weeks of maternity leave to get up the nerve and guts to do it. I was so wishy washy and continued to doubt that it was the best decision…even though I knew deep down it was.

Luckily, I had a lot of other stay-at-home-moms to confide in and seek guidance from. Every single one of them told me the same thing…choosing to stay home with their kids was the best decision they have made. They told me it was hard…REALLY hard some days…but it was worth it…incredibly worth it.

Yes…I am scared.

Scared that I won’t be a very good mom….and the kids will get bored with me.

Scared that we will not manage our money well and be screwed.

Scared that I will miss working in an office around other adults.

But being scared has never held me back from BIG  life choices before. It was scary to go to college, to travel to Europe on my own, to plan my brother’s funeral, to get married, to buy a house….to decide to have kids! I have made scary decisions before. Being scared and uncomfortable is what makes us grow and evolve. If I never did anything that pushed, or challenged me…life would be pretty boring. So I am embracing the scared and learning how to live this new normal…Stay-at-Home-Mom!

p.s. this status change also brings with it some other BIG changes I haven’t discussed yet.

Stay tuned…

Cloth Diaper Rental

When I was pregnant with Liam I started building a cloth diaper stash. It was made up of mostly pockets and AIO diapers, along with a few prefolds and covers. I planned on using disposables for the first few weeks. I didn’t want to invest in newborn sized diapers that would only be used for a few weeks, and I didn't want to add to the stress of dealing with diaper laundry and adjusting to motherhood. Liam was in disposables until he was four weeks old and big enough to fit into the cloth diapers I had purchased. Over 2 years later and I am still using the same diapers on Liam!!

I had planned on doing the same with Hazel, that was until I stumbled upon the newborn cloth diaper rental program at Earthy Crunchy Mama.

Jenn runs the operation and was extremely helpful. Since I already knew HOW to cloth diaper, I didn’t have many questions. I told her I was looking for a newborn option for my daughter and wanted something I could use for the first few months until she could fit into the larger diapers I already had. For anyone who is just starting out and knows NOTHING about cloth diapers, or is really confused about the many different options, Jenn would be an awesome resource for you. Trying out the different configurations will help you determine what works best for YOUR baby and YOUR lifestyle.

This program is very comprehensive, providing you with everything you would need to cloth diaper your baby in the first 1-2 months. She has a wide range of cloth diapering options and brands so that you can determine which fits your baby and your lifestyle best. Since I was familiar with Rumparooz and loved the way they fit Liam, I chose to have all of mine be their newborn style, Lil Joey’s. In hindsight, I should have chosen a wider selection, as they ended up not being the best fit for my 9 lb newborn!! We had some leaking issues probably due to the fact they are designed for smaller babies. Jenn did offer to exchange them for a different style. After a little experimenting and attentiveness, I was able to make them work for us. By two months old I was able to transition her to the larger sized diapers I had already purchased.

This would also give you the opportunity to determine the styles you like so that when it comes time to buy your larger size stash, you know what works for you. Personally, I like pockets and AIO diapers (which is what 90% of my stash consists of). For most parents this would be their first time trying cloth and would benefit from trying the wide range of options. Jenn can work with you to determine the best selection.

So why do I even care about using cloth on Hazel? There are a few reasons. First and foremost, disposable diapers are really expensive. They average around $0.31 each and newborns average around 12 a day! That can really add up. So in the effort to save money, I really wanted to be able to use cloth from the start…or at least as soon as possible. Also, since I was already doing cloth laundry for Liam, I really didn’t want to deal with the smell and added garbage of disposable diapers.

So what did I get in my rental package?!!

The rental package arrived 2 days before my due date. I was so excited to open the box and “oh and ah” over how cute and small the newborn fluff was. Getting diapers in the mail is one of the best feelings. I have been lucky to be the recipient of a lot of fluff mail thanks to Grandma Marla and ebay.

Cloth Diaper Rental

Here is what was  included:

  • 24 New & Gently used newborn diapers
  • 1 pack disposable liners *
  • 3 Night / Nap Time Doublers
  • Detergent *
  • Cloth Diaper Safe Rash Cream *
  • Gently used Pail Liner
  • Gently used Wet Bag
  • Cloth Wipes *
  • Water test strip (to test for hard or soft water) *
* I get to keep the product

The package also came with detailed and through information about each product, along with laundry and care instructions. So you really don’t need to know anything about cloth going into it and still be very successful.

When it was time to return the diapers I emailed Jenn to let her know and she promptly sent me a shipping label and instructions on how to package and mail the diapers.

I now have $90 in store credit to use on diapers or other items she offers at Earthy Crunchy Mama. I am going to get a few more “girly” AIO diapers to add to Hazel’s diaper stash.

Baby Wearing {Ring Sling}

Ok, why the heck did I not get a ring sling when Liam was a baby?!

I am IN LOVE with this new ring sling. It is so easy to put on and very comfortable to wear! And Hazel seems to like it too!!!

Hazel {1 month update}

Wow…Hazel is one month old!!!

The past month has just flown by…like I blinked my eyes and here we are. Things seem like they have gone by especially fast compared to Liam’s first month. Managing a 2 year old and a newborn, is no joke…why did I think this was going to be easy???

When Liam was a newborn, my days were occupied with sleeping, nursing, and staring at this tiny human I had made. This time around there isn’t much down time. Liam requires a great deal of attention and the days just fly by...

Hazel wakes between 3-4 am to nurse. As soon as I feel like I am back to sleep, Stan’s alarm goes off. He tries to get out the door around 6am and I am able to get a few more minutes of sleep. By 7am Liam is up, so I am up. Hazel is still sleeping a lot, so I bring her into the living room in her bouncy chair while I take care of Liam. I make him breakfast and put on PBS. The mornings have been pretty uneventful. I am basically in survival mood, so unfortunately there has been a lot of  TV watching.

I try to hold Hazel as much as possible (I really need to start wearing here more) but it hard to do when I am wrangling a toddler and trying to keep the house from becoming condemned.

After lunch, Liam will usually take a nap for a couple of hours. During this time I like to just hold Hazel and do nothing else (even though this is really the only time I could be getting some things done). This is my favorite part of the day. She falls asleep on my chest after nursing. It is just the best feeling ever. The rise and fall of her body as she breaths deeply in slumber. Oh I wish she could just stay this size forever…

Stan has been getting home from work in the early evening, which has been nice compared to the later hours he used to work. I have been trying to get dinner ready so that we can be done and just chill for a little bit before bed time. Stan snuggles Hazel and I get a little break (or this is when I sneak off and get some grocery shopping done). Once Liam is asleep, Hazel nurses some more and is usually out for the night by 9pm. We have 1 or 2 nursing sessions during the night and sometimes I have to wake her to nurse, just to make sure I don’t get too uncomfortable. I swear she might sleep 10 hours if I would let her!

Hazel is such a content and happy baby. I keep thinking to myself, “Wow, I thought Liam was an easy baby…but Hazel is even more laid back!”

She is alert and happy. She coos and smiles...and makes funny faces!!

Many Faces of Hazel

I wanted to make sure I documented Hazel’s growth. I had made this letter H for her nursery, and thought it would be the perfect prop to use in her monthly photos…and thanks to Pinterest I thought it would great to list out some highlights from each month as well. Won’t these be fun to look back on? Wish I had done this with Liam.

Supplements for a Healthy Pregnancy

Pregnancy Supplements

During my first pregnancy I didn’t do much research on supplementation. A few months before we started trying to conceive I began taking a prenatal I found in the health food section of my local grocery store. Once we found out we were pregnant, I took supplementation a little more serious. I spent an hour at Supper Supplements reading the labels until I found what I thought was the best. That was the extent of my research. Wow I come a long way! I hadn’t been introduced to Shaklee yet and didn’t know the different between synthetic and whole food supplements. I thought I could get everything I needed in one pill a day.

I hope you know that all woman should supplement while pregnant because you are growing another person inside you. Most of us do not eat a “perfect diet” and therefore need a little extra help to make sure we are providing ourselves and baby with the extra nutrients to grow and develop correctly. I have chosen Shaklee supplements for this pregnancy and have felt amazing!

Shaklee’s been around for over 50 years and is the #1 natural nutrition company in the USA.  You can watch a video about the Shaklee difference here.

I am not a doctor but Shaklee has lots of doctors on board and this is what they recommend for pregnancy.

Because the nutritional needs during pregnancy and lactation are unique to this stage of a women’s life, we strongly urge all women who are pregnant or nursing to discuss the use of dietary supplements with their care provider.

However, along with our general recommendation to eat a healthy, well balanced diet to ensure pregnant and nursing women are meeting their nutritional needs, we also recommend a combination of Shaklee supplements that can be used as alternatives to a standard prenatal vitamin once discussed with your care provider.

An excellent “Shaklee Prenatal” would be:

2 tablets of Vita-Lea with Iron

2 tablets of B complex for the basic prenatal nutrients, in particular folic acid to help prevent neural tube defects

For women who do not consume enough dairy, the addition of:

2-4 tablets of OsteoMatrix can help meet needs for calcium, vitamin D and other bone health nutrients

To provide a safe and beneficial amount of omega 3 fatty acids (ie. DHA):

3 softgel capsules of OmegaGuard per day are recommended to support fetal brain development

It is not uncommon for some pregnant women to need the addition of:

1 tablet of Iron plus C can be added providing an additional 18 mg of Iron and 60 mg of Vitamin C

And lastly:

Shaklee 180 meal smoothee prepared as directed, and used as part of healthy breakfast or midday snack provides a mother and her growing baby with an additional 270 calories, 24 grams of high quality protein and 6 grams of fiber.

Although Vitalizer is a comprehensive nutritional foundation for virtually all adults, there are some components that might not generally be considered essential in a standard prenatal nutrition program. In addition, certain nutrients such as folic acid were not included at levels intended to support a pregnant mother and her growing baby. The use of Vitalizer during pregnancy should be discussed with the care provider, who may wish to suggest an addition 1-2 B Complex and Osteomatrix as stated above if approved for you.

Here is a video of Shaklee’s Dr. Jamie talking about the importance of good supplementing during pregnancy.

Hailey’s Recommendations:

I recommend everything that Shaklee recommends with a few additional lifestyle products.

Shaklee 180 Energy Tea for increased energy. Pregnancy in general is exhausting.  Chasing after a toddler, working full time, while being pregnant is beyond exhausting. Since I don’t drink coffee or soda, I do find I need an afternoon boost sometimes. This tea is amazing and really helps me get through the day. No more than 1-2 teas a day.

Get Clean Non-Toxic Cleaners and Natural Laundry Products because you should NOT be cleaning with toxic cleaners.  If you haven’t switched to natural cleaners yet, you should ASAP.  If not for you, for your baby.  This kit  has everything you need to start cleaning your way to a healthier home.

Enfuselle Skin Care and Natural Hair Care because you should remove all toxins from your home including your what goes on your skin!  Did you know that anything you put on your skin gets absorbed into your body and by baby! Yuck!

Natural Daily Care like toothpaste, deodorant, lotions, etc. because I believe you should remove all toxins.

Stay tuned for my posts about postpartum care and breastfeeding nutrition.

Congrats on your pregnancy!  I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy, birth, and baby!

Enjoy this time.  Thank you for letting me help you build the healthiest baby.

I am NOT a doctor. I am sharing this information from my personal experience and research. ALWAYS check with your doctor if you are unsure about anything. In addition, some Shaklee products say “Not recommended for pregnant women.” They are obligated to say this because Shaklee does not do product testing on pregnant women. These products may be safe, but check with your doctor to be sure.

Also, I was not paid to write this post, however, the links included are affiliate links to my Shaklee shop as I am a distributor. Anything you purchase through these links goes directly to me to help support my family so I thank you very much for that!

  • How much is it to renew each year?
  • Is there a minimum each month or year?
  • What is your return policy?
  • By joining as a member, does that make me a distributor?

So here’s how I would clear those up for you:
  • There is no renewal fee.  It’s a lifetime membership and one time fee of $19.95 FREE for you with a qualifying order!
  • There are no minimums EVER!  You can order once a year or monthly.  It’s up to you.
  • We offer 100% money back guarantee for all products.
  • You are not a distributor and will not receive bonuses.  If you want to get paid for sharing Shaklee, you need to go here and apply to partner with me.
I want you to be completely without risk, so here’s my guarantee.  If for any reason a Shaklee Product is not satisfactory, return it for exchange or full refund.

If our products are not the best they can be — and the best you can buy — what else matters?

So if you don’t experience the desired results from a Shaklee nutritional, personal care, or household product, you may return the unused portion for a 100% refund.

In addition to a money-back guarantee, we offer:
  • 100% guarantee that the ingredients listed on the label are in the product
